PIANO MUTATIONS takes intimate piano tones, rhythmic arpeggiations, and melodic expressions and contorts them into a reimagined collection of dreamy synthetic abstraction.
Using the captured resonances of a gently prepared upright piano as source, recordings were processed through a series of modular effects and resampling techniques to transform the nature of their performance — warping them, stretching them, and infusing them with surreal synthetic character full of dynamic modulation and nuanced resonance.
Included are 50 loops, available in a variety of formats to suit any DAW or device, plus 2 loop instruments and 50 sound designed-presets for CYCLES users.
