SLOMO amplifies the guitar past the point of legibility — amplified mass decayed into haze. Held somewhere between chord and drone, feedback sustained until pitch becomes surface, and crescendos that keep gathering without ever landing. Dream logic at volume: strings bowed with an Ebow, driven through Fender Supersonic and Princeton Reverb amplifiers, then smeared across an EarthQuaker Astral Destiny and pulled sideways by an Eventide PitchFactor until the original gesture disappears inside its own tail.
Recorded in part at Real World Studios, each loop isolates the physical sensation of scale and saturation as raw compositional material.
